A MAJOR announcement for the 2008 Flex Wheeler Classic! We have confirmed that 2007 Arnold Classic Champion Victor Martinez has been confirmed to be at our show! Flex personally spoke with Victor at the 2008 Arnold and received personal confirmation from the 2007 Champ himself. Victor is telling Flex that he will not only be able to attend and participate in the Superstar Seminar, but he states that he will be completely rehabbed from his knee injury and will also guest pose at the night finals!

We are excited to announce that Team Flex Wheeler and All-American EFFX will be returning to Minneapolis for yet another posing and contest prep seminar. We are currently hammering out the details with Christine Bongiovanni to hold this seminar in conjunction with her show on June 7th, the Gopher State Classic. Keep checking back for more details!!!

Date and time to be determined between Team Flex Wheeler and NPC Chairperson Christine Bongiovanni…personally, we're hoping to have it around the same time as her show, The NPC Gopher State Classic on June 7, 2008. Maybe we can get Flex to show up and make a little noise…

Event Information
CONTEST ENTRY INFORMATION
MUSIC:
Cassette TAPE or CD is acceptable. Each cassette must contain only 1 song (mixing is ok-90 seconds). Cassettes must be pre-set bearing the contestant's name and number. CD's must bear the contestant's name, number, and CD track number.
ENTERING 2 DIVISIONS:
You must inform the DJ in which division you are going to pose in the evening show. Please write name, number, and Division on the tape or CD. TFW Worldwide, LLC is not liable for music left behind or lost. Please pick-up after posing.
POSING FORMAT:
PREJUDING: Maximum 60 second routine without music or, if necessary, there will be comparisons only depending on the number of competitors.
FINALS: Maximum 90 second routine. If necessary, all athletes will be introduced but only the top 5 in each age, height, or weight class will perform.
COMPETITOR ATTIRE - MEN'S BODYBUILDING:
The following conditions apply to men's bodybuilding:
Male competitors must wear posing trunks of a solid, non-distracting color, made from cloth fabric, which are clean and decent. Metallic material, such as gold or silver lame, or shiny rubberized material, may not be used to make up the trunks. The use of padding anywhere in the trunks is prohibited. The posing trunks and/or the competitor's body must not contain any commercial advertising and/or endorsements. If a competitor's posing attire does not conform to the above rules, or does not conform to acceptable standard of taste and decency, the Head Judge has the authority to direct that the competitor change his posing attire, failing to do so may warrant disqualification.
COMPETITOR ATTIRE - WOMEN'S BODYBUILDING:
The following conditions apply to women's bodybuilding:
Female competitors must wear a two-piece bikini of a solid, non-distracting color, made from cloth fabric, which is clean and decent. Metallic material, such as gold or silver lame, or shiny rubberized material, may not be used to make up the bikini. The fastening of the bikini must be plain with not attached ornamentation. The bikini must reveal both the abdominal muscles and the lower back muscles. The use of padding anywhere in the bikini is prohibited. The posing trunks and /or the competitor's body must not contain any commercial advertising and/or endorsements. If a competitor's posing attire does not conform to the above rules, or does not conform to acceptable standard of taste and decency, the Head Judge has the authority to direct that the competitor change his posing attire, failing to do so may warrant disqualification
OTHER CONDITIONS - BODYBUILDING (men & women):
The following other conditions apply to men's and women's bodybuilding:
- During the Prejudging, the competitor's number must be securely attached to the left side of the posing attire.
- During the Prejudging, competitors must not wear footwear, watches, rings (except wedding rings), bangles, pendants, chains, bracelets (wrist or ankle), earrings, pierced jewelry, ornamentation or artificial aids to the physique. During the Finals, these prohibitions may be somewhat relaxed, within reason.
- The use of props during the Prejudging or Finals is strictly prohibited.
- During the Prejudging of women, the hair must be worn off the shoulders so as not to hide the musculature of the upper back and shoulders. The hair may be styled for the Finals.
COMPETITOR ATTIRE - WOMEN'S FIGURE:
Women's figure attire must conform to the following regulations:
PREJUDING - Round 1 - Competitors must wear a one-piece swimsuit and high heels, style and color at the competitor's discretion. The swimsuit must cover a minimum of one-half of the buttocks area and conform to accepted standards of taste and decency. G-strings are strictly prohibited. Round 2 - Competitors must wear a two-piece swimsuit and high heels, style and color at the competitor's discretion. Jewelry is permitted for both prejudging and finals, and the hair may be worn in any fashion as long as it is swept to the side during the quarter turns exposing the back.
ELIGIBILITY:
All contestants must be registered with the NPC or register on the day of the contest. NPC registration fee is $80.00 (do not send NPC registration with entry form). Proof of age is required for Masters Men and Women and Teens. Novices must NOT have won an overall competition. The Flex Wheeler Bodybuilding and Figure Classic is open to all athletes of the United States.

All athletes briefing and check in: 8:00 am. Prejudging: 10:00 am. Doors open: 9:30 am

* if there are less than 3 competitors in any given class, the competitors will then compete in a combined weight/height/age class closest to his/her weight/height/age class.
All athlete check-in for finals: 5:00 pm. Finals: 6:30 pm. Doors open: 6:00 pm

Photography and DVD Videos

Greetings 2008 NPC Flex Wheeler Classic competitors. I am happy to announce that Bodybuilding and Fitness Photography will be on-hand at the July 12th show as the official contest photographer. I will also be working with my video company True2Life Productions as the official event videographer. Below you will find information on my photo and video packages. I will also be offering a limited number of appointments for gym training photos packages the Sunday following the show. If you have any questions please e-mail me at markmason@mindspring.com
Prejudging Portraits
Fitness, figure and bodybuilding portraits will be shot during prejudging the day of the show. I will be using a three-point lighting scheme for studio quality portraits. Figure and fitness competitors are free to have half their package taken in their one-piece and half in their two piece. Your images will be mailed to you on a high resolution CD within three weeks. Portrait pricing is $35 for twelve to fourteen images.
Night Stage Images
Images of your stage presentation, comparisons, posedowns and any trophy awards will be captured and mailed to you on a high resolution CD within three weeks. Night Stage Images are $35 for your whole stage experience.

Video Packages
The DVD that I produce is has a motion menu system broken down into classes for ease of naviagion. I also include a lower-third with each contestant's name at the beginning of their stage performance. The Prejudging DVD is $35 and the Night Show DVD is $35.

Sunday Gym Photographs
I am accepting a limited number of clients for a one-hour gym shoot featuring you training and posing in a local area gym. I will use three-point lighting similar to the photos in FLEX and OXYGEN magazines. The one hour shoot is $150. Please contact me at markmason@mindspring.com to make an appointment.
